School Counseling Program

The St. Ann School Counseling Program is available to help students, parents and teachers develop positive learning experiences. The program includes individual and group counseling, parent and teacher consultation, student assessment, informational services and referral assistance.

The primary obligation of the School Counselor is to provide direct assistance to students in the school. The School Counselor endeavors to establish a collaborative relationship with parents/guardians respecting the rights and responsibilities of parents/guardians for their children. Parent and teacher consultations are usually scheduled in the early morning before classes.

The School Counselor protects the confidentiality of information received in the counseling relationship and releases personal data only in accordance with prescribed federal and state laws.

The School Counselor is a licensed professional with preparation in human development, counseling and consulting. The counselor’s office is located in the school and appointments can be scheduled by calling 882- 8077.
